iRecordMusic can act as a real-time transcoder for converting between different audio formats. For example, if you have an audio file in ASF format (popular on Windows PCs) or in RealAudio, you can drag and drop it into an iRecordMusic browser window. The WindowsMedia player plug-in will play the file, which you can then of course, record in whatever format you want, e.g. MP3, or OGG.
